6. A Graphical Revamp
In fairness, an annual release is hardly lazy. 2K19 would barely have been on shop shelves before in-house attentions turned to what the developers could do next in 2K20.
That’s the catch to yearly releases, and it makes sweeping improvements harder to come by. It’s also probably why the graphics have occasionally been a bit naff in 2K’s series.

Just look at that Charlotte Flair model pictured above.
WWE video games have needed a graphical rethink for years now. The same stiff hair mechanics, those dead eyes, the unrealistic way wrestlers float rather than walk over the ring canvas and more are all examples of why a revamp is required.
The problem is that 2K don’t exactly have bags of time on their side to make it happen. They need to think of something though.
