6. Team SmackDown Starts Shaping Up
The last pay-per-view of WWE’s “Big Four” line-up, Survivor Series, is less than 3 weeks away. The company has announced that this year the competition will be between RAW, SmackDown and NXT.
The yellow brand fired the first shots in the 3-way brand war by invading SmackDown last Friday night. They invaded RAW this week and made another huge statement in such a short time.
The red brand fired back on NXT this week by sending The OC to invade NXT. The Good Brothers took out The Undisputed Era before the show started and battled Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Matt Riddle in the main event.
Both NXT and RAW have fired shots at each other, but the blue brand hasn’t made a move so far. SmackDown was heavily invaded by Triple H and his roster last week so we may see a response from SmackDown this week.
With things heating up quickly on the road to Survivor Series, the blue brand will also start preparing for their competition against the other two brands at Survivor Series.
Some of the superstars including Daniel Bryan, Bayley and The Miz will be fired up to avenge NXT’s invasion last week. SmackDown may announce the captains of all their teams this week and we may even find out some of the members who’ll join them.
