1. Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman – #1 Contenders Match For The Universal Championship
“The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defeated Braun Strowman in the main event of SummerSlam to become a 2-Time Universal Champion.
However, the chaos didn’t end there, as an angry Roman Reigns made his shocking return to destroy both The Fiend and The Monster Among Men.
The Big Dog made it clear that he’ll be going after the Universal Championship, but WWE will probably take some time to build up such a big feud. As Reigns attacked Strowman as well, it’s likely that they might feud before Reigns goes after the Title.
There’s a possibility that WWE will have Reigns and Strowman face off at Payback, with the winner getting a Universal Championship match at Clash Of Champions next month.
This will be a fitting place for the two men to collide, as at the last Payback PPV (which took place in 2017), Strowman destroyed Reigns in the main event that night.
