• Update On Bobby Lashley’s Status For Upcoming Title Match

On this week’s episode of RAW, Paul Heyman revealed that Brock Lesnar is scheduled to defend the WWE Championship against Bobby Lashley at the March 5th WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden.

Heyman noted that if Lashley isn’t cleared to compete, then he will personally find a suitable replacement as Brock’s opponent.

It looks like Heyman will have to find an opponent from Brock, because Lashley has been pulled from the advertising of this event and the new ad only states that Brock will defend the WWE Title.

This event isn’t scheduled to air on Peacock / WWE Network as of this writing.

Below are the matches that are being advertised for this event:

– Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship

– Brock Lesnar (c) to defend the WWE Championship

– Becky Lynch (c) vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship

– Ronda Rousey & Sasha Banks vs. SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair & Natalya

Also advertised to appear at this event are RK-BRO, AJ Styles, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos and The New Day.

• Old School Wrestling Veteran Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 51st birthday of Old School WCW/WWF Veteran Sean O’Haire.

Trained at WCW’s own Wrestling School, the WCW Power Plant, Sean had his televised debut on WCW TV in mid-2000 and soon became a member of the ‘Natural Born Thrillers’ stable.

When World Championship Wrestling was bought by Vince McMahon in 2001, so was O’Haire’s contract, thus he became a member of the WCW/ECW Alliance stable during the infamous Invasion storyline.

He left the WWE in 2004 and got into MMA, where he had a 4-2 record.
