• Sasha Banks’ 1st Appearance After WWE Release Rumors Announced

Back in May, WWE suspended Sasha Banks & Naomi for walking out of RAW. They were also stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

In June, a report came out that Sasha has been released from the company. However, WWE hasn’t made any official statement.

WWE then edited Sasha out of one of the videos they posted. WWE posted a video on YouTube looking at the Top 10 moments from Paige’s career. One of those moments was Paige’s return in 2017.

The original footage that was shown on TV when this happened had Sasha Banks lying in the ring with Mickie James.

In this new video, WWE chose a different camera angle where only Mickie was visible. They edited out Sasha.

You can check it out below:

Fans can no longer choose Sasha as their Avatar on Peacock. Only 2 other options are available now: Roman Reigns and Asuka. Fans that had Sasha as their Avatar will now get the default NBC Peacock icon.

Sasha has now been announced for her 1st public appearance since the WWE release rumors.

She is being advertised to appear at Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo 2022 event next month under her real name.

Fans can get an autograph for $70 and a photo for $90.

The C2E2 Twitter account posted the following:

“Please join us in welcoming our next #C2E2 guest, Mercedes Varnado (Sasha Banks)! Whether you’ve seen her in the ring or as Koska Reeves in The Mandalorian, you are not going to want to miss out on this Photo and Autograph opportunity!”

• Old School WWF Tag Team Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School ECW/WWF Tag Team Veteran Bubba Ray Dudley (Real name: Mark LoMonaco) celebrates his 51st birthday today.

In early 1996, he joined the famous faction The Dudley Boyz in Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling and was soon joined by his (kayfabe) half-brother D-Von Dudley, with whom Buh Buh Ray formed a Tag Team, that eventually surpassed the stable and ultimately became one of the most famous Tag Teams in professional wrestling history.

In 1999, they jumped ship to the World Wrestling Federation and stayed until 2005, when they joined Total Nonstop Action! (now known as iMPACT Wrestling).

The Dudley Boyz won pretty much all major World Tag Team Championships that are out there including the titles of the World Wrestling Federation, Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling (in the WWF during the invasion storyline), the National Wrestling Alliance (in TNA), Total Nonstop Action! and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

In 2012, he reinvented himself by turning into a singles wrestler, adapting the character of “Bully Ray”.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUBBA RAY DUDLEY!
