• Vince McMahon Reportedly Had Memory Issues

Vince McMahon has retired from all roles in WWE and Triple H is the new Head of Creative.

Many fans believe WWE shows will get better now, because Triple H will book and develop better storylines.

According to Fightful Select, Vince reportedly had memory issues and didn’t remember what he booked, so he would repeat stuff (which is most likely the reason why we saw so many rematches in recent memory):

“When asking those working in and near creative what they expected to change the most with Triple H in control, and one specifically said:

‘Recall of what we have and haven’t done repeatedly. There were so many things that Vince insisted on doing that he didn’t remember doing over and over again, even when people would tell him.’”

• Old School AWA Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School AWA Veteran Greg Gagne celebrates his 74th birthday today.

He’s the son of the late great Wrestler & AWA Promoter Verne Gagne and most Old School fans will remember him as one half of the Tag Team ‘The High Flyers’ with his team partner Jim Brunzell.

Greg Gagne wrestled for his fathers promotion, the American Wrestling Association, from 1972 until the promotion closed in the spring of 1991.

After retiring from active professional wrestling, he became a road agent for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREG GAGNE!
