• Florida School Board Chair Apologizes After Celebrating Hulk Hogan’s Death
Sarah Rockwell is the chair of the Alachua County School Board in Florida. She holds advanced degrees (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate) in Special Education from the University of Florida, and has decades of experience working across multiple school districts, including roles in Miami‑Dade and Marion Counties. She also serves on education-focused boards and is a mother of two children with disabilities.
After news of Hulk Hogan’s death broke, she posted the following on Facebook: “Oh did Hulk die? I didn’t even know. Good. One less MAGA in the world. He worked with the McMahons to union bust professional wrestling. He’s never been a good guy. I feel absolutely nothing about his death.”
Sarah got criticized for her comments, which led to her issuing an apology:
“A few days ago, I made a cruel and flippant comment from my personal Facebook account on a friend’s post regarding the death of Hulk Hogan. I deeply regret making that comment and have since removed it. I want to make it very clear that I never have and never will wish harm on anyone regardless of whether we share political views. While I strongly disagree with some of the comments Hulk Hogan made, that is no excuse for my comment.
I also sincerely apologize for the way my comment has eroded confidence in my ability to represent all students, families, and staff in Alachua County. I want to assure all of you that the best interests of our children and our public schools are at the center of everything I do as a board member. I hope I have shown that by my record of advocacy for children, families, and staff members throughout Alachua county.
Again, I apologize for the hurt and distrust I have caused with my insensitive comment. I will continue to do the hard work of putting our children and schools first. I hope that I can earn back your trust.”

• Update On Alberto Del Rio’s WWE Return Status After AAA Departure
Despite his departure from AAA, Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron remains completely off WWE’s radar.
Del Rio was written out of AAA on Friday after losing a high-stakes match to El Mesias, a major blow considering he was positioned as one of the promotion’s top names just months ago. But even with WWE’s recent acquisition of AAA, insiders say nothing has changed regarding Del Rio’s standing in the company.
According to Fightful Select, WWE officials have been consistently firm for years: they’re not interested. While Del Rio has often claimed that WWE had reached out – most recently telling some in the AAA locker room that he was considered for the Royal Rumble – a WWE higher-up dismissed the idea:
“If we wanted Alberto at all, much less in the Royal Rumble, he’d be here.”
Company reps say there has been zero internal discussion about bringing Del Rio back. In fact, WWE made intentional efforts to distance themselves from him altogether after acquiring AAA, including ensuring he was not promoted and no longer held the AAA Mega Championship.
Officials were reportedly aware that Vikingo’s win over Del Rio for the title might spark short-term backlash from Mexican fans, but they viewed it as a necessary step for the brand’s long-term direction.
WWE sources remain adamant: Del Rio is not part of any creative plans. With his exit from AAA appearing legitimate, the belief within the company is that he may attempt to pitch returns to both WWE and AAA, but neither is biting for now.
