On Kliq This, WWF Legend Kevin Nash voiced frustration over the conflicting health updates about Hulk Hogan in the days leading up to his death – saying he felt misled by people close to the situation. “I thought I was being kayfabed,” Nash admitted. “Bubba (The Love Sponge)’s reports were very fatalistic. Then we’d hear from other people close to him – who were actually seeing him – that it wasn’t as bad as being put out there.”

Adding to the confusion, Nash mentioned Jimmy Hart had given upbeat reports. “Shortly before Hulk’s death, Jimmy said everything’s good, brother. We even did karaoke together.” Nash was especially rattled by a post on Threads that appeared to show Hogan in good spirits. “I saw a video of him in the hospital on the toilet cutting a promo. Talking about how the walls weren’t even yellow. It was two or three days before he passed.”

“That really pi$$ed me off,” Nash said. “Because I was like, what the f**k? I’m out here, I would’ve driven over to see him. I was mad at the people feeding me information.”

Nash also shared the surreal experience of learning that Hulk Hogan had passed away – while vacationing on a cruise ship in Alaska. “I was laying in bed on the cruise ship and my wife had an excursion to Ketchacon,” Nash recalled. “She was like right over the top of me and she said, ‘I don’t know how to say this. I’ll just say it. Hulk died.’”

Nash said his first response was shock. “I just said, okay. She asked if I was all right. I said, ‘Let me process this.’ So I sat up on the bed, opened the blinds, and I’m looking at snow-covered peaks in Alaska and just kind of sat there… digested it.”

With no Wi-Fi in his cabin, Nash had to search the ship for a signal. “I didn’t want to be radio silent on a friend’s death. So I got dressed and went to the Wi-Fi café, the only place with a little bit of signal. I put out a quick tweet and a quick Instagram just to say something.”

Over the next two days, Nash was bombarded by fellow cruise-goers. “It wasn’t like I was unknown on the ship. So for the next two days it was, ‘Sorry about Hulk. Sorry about Hulk.’ And I’m just like… okay.”

He ended up isolating himself. “I got to play my role at home – be Howard Hughes and eat room service.”
