• Next WWE PLE to Become a 2-Night Event Revealed

Following the massive success of SummerSlam 2025 in New Jersey, WWE and parent company TKO Group Holdings are now seriously considering expanding the two-night event format to more Premium Live Events starting in 2026.

Andrew Baydala reports that the internal response to this year’s SummerSlam – which featured earlier start and finish times, record-setting revenue, and strong attendance figures – has been overwhelmingly positive. The fan response to the two-night experience has also played a major role in the decision-making process.

As a result, plans are already underway to adapt additional PLEs into the two-night model. Survivor Series 2026 and Royal Rumble 2027 are reportedly at the top of WWE’s list to make the jump. In addition, Money in the Bank is also being discussed as a potential candidate for the expanded format.

If greenlit, these moves would mark a significant shift in WWE’s PLE strategy, with more emphasis on pacing, ticket sales, and event prestige. The two-night approach was first popularized with WrestleMania during the pandemic era and has since proven effective in increasing revenue and giving fans more flexibility in how they consume live WWE content.

While nothing has been officially confirmed yet, the growing internal momentum strongly suggests that WWE is ready to make the two-night format a more regular part of its big-event calendar.
