• RAW Star Wants To Make Changes To Her Character
Nikki Bella returned to WWE during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match and then showed up a couple of months later to be a part of the second Evolution Premium Live Event.
On the latest edition of The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki talked about pushing herself physically and creatively to see how she does in the new era of WWE under Triple H.
“As far as me personally, one thing I knew that I wanted out of this comeback and I still do is one, to get back into my strong shape and my wrestling shape and to get to a place where I used to be many years ago.
So, physically, that part, and then it was to get myself into the wrestling place of this new era. Like, ‘Okay, how far can I push myself beyond my comfort zone and how can I hang in this era?’ You know, who I am as a wrestler and in the ring. Am I going to change that?
I’ve always been more known as a powerhouse and that slightly changed when I came back from my broken neck, so in that way, I had to change, you know, some of my move set and change what I was doing in my craft and now I know I’m going to do that again.”
The WWE Hall of Famer also talked about wanting to bring some changes into her character.
“I wanted to keep Fearless Nikki as Fearless Nikki because to me, my comeback was more about being nostalgia and ‘Okay, here’s this Hall of Famer and this legend, so let’s just keep her as is.’ That was my mindset and you know me. I’m a marketing machine, so I wanted to keep what was marketable, what people recognized me as, but now being in it, I’m actually wanting to kind of change her a little bit.
I do work with creative every week hands on. I love being hands-on. Everyone there is hands-on. It’s actually very different than before. Even when we do promos, you know, we used to get handed something and it’s way different now. It’s really cool.”
At Clash In Paris, Nikki lost to Becky Lynch in a Women’s Intercontinental Championship match. On the September 8th episode of RAW, Asuka made Nikki tap out.
• Tiffany Stratton Names 3 Moves She Hates Taking
Tiffany Stratton has had various types of matches since making her WWE debut. She has been on the receiving end of many brutal moves, but there are three of them she absolutely hates taking.
Here’s what she said in an interview with the No-Contest Wrestling podcast:
“There’s not a lot of moves that I like taking. I think Powerbombs can be really crappy to take, because sometimes people will yank you down. Sometimes people will just let you float down. Powerbombs. Nia Jax’s finisher. Jade recently started doing, she calls it ‘The Eye of the Storm,’ I think it’s like similar to a Thunder Bomb.
I have to hold my head up just because of the whiplash and the momentum coming down. So that’s pretty crappy to take. Any sort of Powerbomb, I think, is really bad to take.
I will not be taking an Alabama Slam from anybody anytime soon… or like a Chokeslam of some sort. Lash Legend chokeslammed me one time, and that hurt pretty bad.”
• Top Star Explored Options Outside Of WWE Before Contract Extension
AJ Styles came to terms with WWE on a one-year contract extension earlier this year. However, he reportedly explored options outside of the company before making that decision.
According to Sports Illustrated, the former WWE Champion put feelers out about potential options outside of the company. The report stated that he was generating major interest on the convention circuit from promoters, and it was mentioned that the interest was mutual, and at least exploratory.
The Phenomenal One’s WWE contract is reportedly set to expire around February 2026, and he recently teased retirement.
• 2x WWE Hall Of Famer Says Becky Lynch “Lost Her Edge” After Having A Child
Becky Lynch got her face busted open by Nia Jax on WWE RAW in 2018, which led to “The Man” gimmick coming into existence. It made her a top star who was extremely beloved by the fans.
2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed the Women’s Intercontinental Champion’s character development on his latest Kliq This podcast. He said that Lynch isn’t the same as she was years ago, and lost some of her edge after becoming a mother.
“So I made a statement about Becky Lynch and I see people telling me to shut the f**k up. But here’s the thing – when Becky got over, it was because Nia Jax busted her open. There was that visual of this pretty red-haired girl, petite, defiant, and no-selling it. That was the moment that made her. She took that and ran with it, and she got super over.
But in my opinion, she’s not the same as she was back then. Once she had a child, she lost some of that edge, some of that hunger. That happens – it’s life. And the problem with wrestling is if you force something down people’s throats, they’ll spit it back up.”
Nash hasn’t been a fan of The Man’s work lately, as he also criticized her segment with CM Punk on the RAW after Clash In Paris.
