• “I have zero respect for him, personally or professionally” – AEW Star On Triple H

MVP is not backing down from his criticism of WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Earlier this year, he criticized The Game for his poor booking of Bobby Lashley in WWE and emphasized that the issues between them were personal, not related to race.

While speaking on TMZ Inside The Ring, the AEW star was asked about his past comments regarding Triple H and he made it clear that nothing has changed. He said:

“I’m gonna address that on my platform, on Marking Out with MVP and Dwayne Swayze.”

He then doubled down on his stance.

“I stand by those words. I have zero respect for him, personally or professionally. And when I explain why, people will be like, ‘Okay, that makes sense.'”

MVP concluded by explaining that he’s not afraid to own his words, no matter who confronts him.

“If I say something about you, I will say it to your face. And if you come and ask me about what I said, I’m not going to deny it. I’ll say, ‘Yes, I said that. Now, what would you like to discuss further? Where do we go from here?’ If I say something about you and you come ask me about it, I won’t deny it, and I’ll just leave it at that.”

• Kevin Nash Ends His Disney Boycott

2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash hasn’t been shy about speaking his mind, and that includes politics. After ABC pulled “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” from its schedule following backlash to Kimmel’s comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death, Big Daddy Cool was quick to slam the network and said that it would not be allowed to be viewed in his home.

Kimmel’s removal sparked debate online, with some claiming ABC caved to political pressure. The late-night host met with Disney executives over the last few days and reached an agreement that will see him return to air starting Tuesday.

When Nash heard the news, he tweeted:

“Thank God @ABCNetwork is bringing back @jimmykimmel on Tuesday. I was going to hate not watching the @Lions game tonight. Life has been restored and I can stop listening to the @thebeatles revolution on a loop.”

It seems like Nash has ended the Disney boycott in his home and will enjoy Lions taking on Ravens tonight.

• John Cena Reveals Who He Wants To Face After Losing To Brock Lesnar

John Cena and AJ Styles are two of the greatest stars to ever grace the pro wrestling industry. Styles arrived in WWE in 2016 and immediately became one of Cena’s biggest rivals, with the two squaring off multiple times.

As Cena’s retirement tour nears its end, fans are hoping for one final match between the two legends. The 17-time World Champion teased the possibility on X, tweeting:

“#CenavsStyles

Thoughts? #WWERaw”

Cena’s next match is set for October 11 at Crown Jewel in Australia. He recently suffered a humiliating loss to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza.

AJ Styles has also hinted at retirement, with rumors that The Phenomenal One’s WWE contract is expiring around February 2026. Triple H could book a clash between Cena and Styles for one last time, giving fans the blockbuster match they’ve been asking for.

Cena only has 5 appearances left in his retirement tour.

• AEW’s Ricochet Reacts To ESPN Giving WWE Wrestlepalooza a “C Grade”

The dust has settled on WWE’s first-ever Wrestlepalooza, and ESPN has now delivered its verdict on the historic event.

The show, which marked WWE’s debut on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer streaming platform, came loaded with marquee attractions – including Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena, and AJ Lee’s first match after 10 years.

But while expectations were sky-high, reactions have been mixed, both from fans online and now from ESPN’s own review. ESPN’s combat sports writer Andreas Hale graded the overall event a C, calling the show “average” with one notable exception: the Women’s World Championship clash between IYO SKY and Stephanie Vaquer, which earned praise as the highlight of the night. Hale described it as “a phenomenal display inside the squared circle” and awarded it the highest match grade of B+.

Elsewhere, Hale was less impressed. He noted that the Rhodes vs. McIntyre bout underdelivered due to its short length, while Lesnar vs. Cena was dismissed as little more than a setup for future angles, receiving the lowest individual score of the night at C-.

For a card hyped as a monumental crossover between WWE and ESPN, Hale felt the execution didn’t fully live up to the billing:

“The excellent Vaquer vs. Sky match saved this show from being truly average. It was a phenomenal display inside the squared circle. Everything else was either underwhelming (the short Rhodes-McIntyre match) or a setup for a future match (Lesnar dominating Cena). For a card that promised to have epic moments, it fell a little short of expectations.”

AEW wrestler Ricochet tweeted the following about it:

“I know our show was way better than a C. (laughing emoji) #Ahaa”

Ricochet further added:

“Also what’s funny to me is how a show where they have said over over that they aren’t a ‘real sport’ and its more of a TV show about the wrestling company. But they are on ESPN a SPORTS TV channel? (laughing emoji)

Make it make sense. Lol”

AEW’s All Out PPV took place on the same day as WWE Wrestlepalooza. At All Out, Ricochet’s “The Demand” faction defeated The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and MVP) in a trios match.
