• Fired Wrestler Says He Regrets Badmouthing WWE

Ridge Holland was fired from WWE just nine days before his contract was set to expire. The decision came after a series of social media posts criticizing the company. WWE officials were said to be unhappy with Holland’s remarks about his financial struggles while injured, viewing them as a breach of his contract.

In his final post before the release, Holland expressed his frustration on X, saying he felt “hung out to dry” by the company and worried about how he would pay his mortgage while recovering from injury.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former NXT Tag Team Champion admitted that the post was made out of frustration and said that he now regrets it.

“What I will hold my hands up for is that last tweet that forced the situation to get worse, that was purely out of frustration and I’m mad at myself for doing that because it’s something that’s out of character for me.

But I think knowing that my career with WWE was coming to an end and I never got to show my true potential, whether that’s my fault or situational, regarding injuries or things that happened, I felt a little bit wronged.

I don’t know who by, just by the whole situation, so I hold my hands up and if I had the time again I wouldn’t have posted that tweet but I needed an outlet. I needed to vent.”

Following his release, Holland launched a GoFundMe campaign. The fundraiser has received widespread attention and support from the wrestling community, with multiple wrestlers contributing.

• Charlotte Flair Reacts To Her Wardrobe Malfunction On SmackDown

The SmackDown after Saturday Night’s Main Event aired last night from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.

It was quite an action-packed episode, kicking off with a new feud between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Aleister Black, Chelsea Green dethroning Giulia to claim the Women’s United States Championship and ending with Drew McIntyre’s suspension.

However, one of the most unexpected and talked-about moments of the night was WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Charlotte Flair’s wardrobe malfunction.

The Queen shared a brief staredown with new WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill on her way to the ring for her match against Nia Jax. The screen cut to black multiple times during the bout after The Queen suffered a n*p slip. She had a rough night overall as Lash Legend debuted to take out her partner Alexa Bliss, leading to Jax securing the win while Flair was distracted.

A fan took to X to ask if Charlotte Flair had a wardrobe malfunction. The Queen replied that she might just have to change her gear at this point:

“I’m going to start wrestling in the robes”
