• Stephanie McMahon Reveals Her Reaction To Fans Calling Her A “S-ut”

Stephanie McMahon made her WWF/E debut in 1999 and quickly became a central figure in some of the company’s biggest storylines. She mostly played a heel throughout the years, and cemented herself as one of WWE’s most memorable on-screen personalities.

Speaking with WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman on her What’s Your Story podcast, Stephanie discussed the thrills of being a heel and stated that she prefers playing a heel over a babyface.

“I think of myself as a babyface in real life. Maybe I’m not, but to be out there as a babyface is so tough. It’s so much easier to be a heel. It’s so much more fun. I hate it. Terrible. Despise it.”

She also recalled the wild WWE crowds from her early years, who chanted outrageous things at her, and revealed her favorite chant.

“My most horrifying moment: she’s got side meat. So mean. In Chicago, they were like, ‘she’s a crack wh*re.’ Most everywhere else it was, ‘sl*t.’ As soon as I turned heel, it was amazing.

It was at Armageddon in December ’99, the night I did the heel turn and got with Paul (Triple H) in storyline. The next day, the crowd came with the ‘sl*t’ chant. And honestly, it was the greatest thing I had ever heard.

Nobody else got chanted at that way. Thousands of people in these arenas chanting that at me. I was like, what are they? Fantastic. The greatest. I mean, who could say that? Not many people.”

Stephanie McMahon is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.

• “I don’t think it was meant to be racist” – Paige Defends Sydney Sweeney Over American Eagle Controversy

Earlier this year, Sydney Sweeney fronted a denim campaign for American Eagle featuring the tagline “Sydney’s got great jeans (genes).” While intended as a playful pun highlighting the clothing, it sparked outrage from a section of social media users, who called the ad out as echoing eugenic or white‑supremacist themes, especially given Sweeney’s fair‑skinned, blonde‑haired look.

The backlash picked up further momentum after U.S. President Donald Trump publicly praised the ad.

Critics argued the campaign glamorised “superior genes,” while others dismissed the outrage as exaggerated. American Eagle defended the ad, stating that it was simply about the jeans and inclusive in nature.

Sweeney eventually addressed the controversy in an interview, calling the reaction “surreal.”

On her Rulebreakers podcast, former WWE and AEW star Saraya (aka Paige) defended Sweeney and said that she doesn’t think the ad was intended to promote racism.

“She’s already controversial because she’s always in the media for something. She’s a beautiful woman and she uses that to her advantage. I don’t understand why people get mad about her using her beauty.

There’s millions of women doing OnlyFans & selling $ex. I mean whatever she’s doing, her PR team are genius. She’s constantly freaking viral for something. Take that as you want. I don’t think it was meant to be racist.”
