• “They’re both idiots” – Top WWE Star On Jim Cornette & Vince Russo

During an interview on the Mohr Stories podcast, Seth Rollins was asked whose side he’d pick in a public battle between Jim Cornette and Vince Russo. Here’s what Rollins said:

“I’ve hung out with Cornette because Cornette was a booker of mine. He was fine. He’s super entertaining. I mean, the guy can still cut a promo. He’s just a victim of the hot-take culture where he has to say the craziest thing that comes to his brain, and that’s how he makes his money on his podcast.

They’re both idiots, but if I had to pick one, it’d be Cornette. He hates Vince Russo with a passion. That is real.”

When asked if anybody loves Vince Russo other than Russo himself, Rollins replied:

“Nobody that I’m aware of. He’s just a hanger-on, man. That guy’s an idiot.”

• Netflix Announces Big WWE RAW News

As Netflix prepares to roll out the next wave of Stranger Things episodes, the platform’s growing relationship with WWE is about to produce a crossover moment.

Netflix has confirmed that a crossover between WWE RAW and Stranger Things will happen on January 5, 2026. Here’s what they posted:

WWE has announced the following matches so far for the January 5th RAW, which will be the one-year Netflix anniversary special:

World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Bron Breakker

Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri (c) vs. Becky Lynch

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) (c) vs. Rhiyo (Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY)

Few modern TV series have had the kind of cultural impact Stranger Things enjoys. Its influence has stretched well beyond television, famously reintroducing “Running Up That Hill” by Kate Bush to a new generation of fans and sending the track soaring back up the music charts decades after its release.

That song also carries a deep-rooted connection to wrestling history. A cover version by Placebo was once used in what many consider one of the most iconic WWE video packages ever produced, promoting the “Streak vs. Career” match between The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26 in 2010.

• “Why would you get married, MFer?” – Ric Flair Congratulates a Fan on Getting Married (Video)

Few figures in wrestling history are as synonymous with unforgettable promos as Ric Flair, which makes his presence on Cameo seem like a natural fit. While many fans are thrilled to receive a personalized message from The Nature Boy, some fans have walked away feeling let down, especially given the premium price tag attached.

Flair’s Cameo page is largely filled with positive feedback, but buried among the glowing reviews are several one-star ratings that tell a very different story. In those cases, customers claim the experience didn’t live up to expectations, with complaints focusing on effort, clarity, and professionalism.

One frustrated buyer described paying hundreds of dollars for a holiday message, only to receive a video they felt was rushed and careless. According to the review, Flair appeared distracted, mispronounced the recipient’s name, and read the instructions verbatim, leaving the customer embarrassed rather than excited to share the video with a family member.

“Yo I paid 600 bucks for ric to sit in a restaurant blasted out of his mind and say my dads name wrong I paid for him to say merry Christmas to my father buff .. he called him barf and just read the instructions word for word I’m am super disappointed I spent money on this I would’ve got someone who actually puts the effort in for 600 bucks to a regular person that’s a lot of money I’m not going to give a Christmas video to my father with his hero calling him barf!”

Another dissatisfied fan recounted an even more uncomfortable experience after commissioning a message for his brother’s wedding. Instead of offering encouragement, the reviewer claimed Flair joked about abandoning the marriage altogether – something the fan said completely derailed what was meant to be a meaningful gift. The reviewer added that the delivery felt unprepared and incoherent, turning what should have been a highlight into a major regret.

“After spending nearly a GRAND to have someone my brother admired enough to have tattooed on him, wish him luck on his wedding. I would have expected Ric to at least browse through the notes ahead of time not read it word for word the first time and MOST definitely NOT tell him he’s making a mistake and to remain a ‘gf’ because he was so f**ked up he could barely speak right. What would’ve be a great gift ended up being ‘the worst thing he’s ever been gifted.’ Unbelievable!”

A third one-star review echoed similar concerns, alleging that Flair appeared intoxicated, barely stayed in frame, and again relied heavily on reading the provided notes word for word. The fan said they were expecting the legendary charisma Flair is known for, but instead felt they received a low-effort recording.

“Ric was visibly drunk and put no effort into the video. He just read the bullet points that I sent in, word for word. He was halfway out of frame for most of it as well. Very disappointing.”

While these negative reviews represent only a fraction of Flair’s overall feedback, they highlight the risks that come with charging top-tier prices for personalized content. For some buyers, the chance to hear from a wrestling icon is more than worth it. For others, especially those hoping for a sharp, classic Flair-style promo, the experience didn’t match the legend.

Flair recently revealed that he has made almost $1 million after filming 2,470 Cameo videos.
