• Jey Uso Reacts To Fan Backlash Over His Elimination Chamber Qualification Victory
On this week’s RAW, Jey Uso defeated Original El Grande Americano and “Big” Bronson Reed in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
During the match, Reed got injured. According to WrestleVotes, Bronson was originally scheduled to win this match, but his injury forced WWE to change plans at the very last minute.
Jey’s win received backlash online. The YouTube video of Jey’s victory received over 20,000 dislikes, which were way more than the likes it received.
The World Tag Team Champion wrote the following about it on his Instagram story: “Stop. Ya’ll love me.”
Due to the injury to Bronson, Jey looked concerned and didn’t show any happiness after winning the match. WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley wasn’t pleased by this and said the following on Busted Open Radio:
“Why did Jey Uso look depressed and sad? I’m sorry, but you’re supposed to try to win the match because you’re trying to get into the Elimination Chamber. This is where the art of working comes in.
Anything can happen at any given moment. It is your job to stay in the moment. You won the match, Jey Uso should have been going crazy because he got another opportunity.
I understand you’re concerned, you’re worried about the guy that got hurt. That doesn’t mean you completely come out of the moment. You are basically telling me that you weren’t supposed to win. You cannot do that.”
• Bronson Reed Breaks Silence After Getting Injured On RAW
