WWE has decided to pull NXT Stand & Deliver out of Las Vegas and off the WrestleMania 42 weekend to avoid a logistical nightmare.
While the event was originally slated to run in the host city, sources told PWInsider that the company wanted to ease the burden on its production crew. By shifting the developmental brand’s signature show to April 4, WWE prevents the massive burnout that comes with producing three major broadcasts — SmackDown, the Hall of Fame, and NXT Stand & Deliver — within a single 24-hour window right before the two-night WrestleMania grind begins.
The scheduling conflict was largely driven by the West Coast location, which has historically complicated the timing of the biggest week of the year.
Moving the date ensures that NXT doesn’t get buried under the avalanche of main roster content, giving the brand its own spotlight to stand alone.
Although Las Vegas will not host any NXT broadcasts this year, fans shouldn’t view this as a permanent divorce from WrestleMania weekend. The company plans to evaluate the schedule on a yearly basis, leaving the door open for Stand & Deliver to return to its traditional slot in future years, especially when WrestleMania returns to other time zones.

In a major blow to WWE’s spring schedule, Bronson Reed has been forced to the sidelines just as the road to WrestleMania 42 was heating up. According to PWInsider, The Vision member is currently in Birmingham, Alabama, preparing for — or perhaps already recovering from — surgery to repair a torn biceps.
While the timing of the injury is unfortunate, the geography actually worked out for him; since RAW took place in neighboring Georgia, he was able to reach the world-renowned specialists in Alabama via a quick drive rather than a long, painful flight.
Reed’s sudden absence creates a massive headache for the creative team, as he was originally scheduled to be in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match and had a significant role mapped out for WrestleMania 42.
With no official timeline yet for his return, officials are now scrambling to fill his spot and rework RAW’s top-tier storylines.
