• Zaria Explains Why She Turned Heel On Last Night’s NXT

On this week’s NXT, Zaria turned heel on Sol Ruca and attacked Sol right before the NXT Women’s Championship match. Despite getting attacked, Sol decided to go ahead with the match anyway, which ended with Jacy Jayne hitting her finisher right away for the win.

A fan tweeted the following after the ZaRuca breakup:

“Zaria is not the villain in this story. Sol was the one who wanted Zaria to team with her from the beginning, and once Zaria finally let her guards down, Sol used her. Zaria did everything for Sol and not once did Sol do the same. Once Sol lost her titles, the real her came out.”

Zaria saw this tweet and replied: “Took the words right out of my mouth.”

She also tweeted: “Try and walk all over me now b*tch.”

Jacy tweeted the following about her quick victory: “Beat your fave in 6 seconds LMFAOOO”

Jayne will now defend the NXT Women’s Title against Zaria on next week’s NXT.

Ulka Sasaki’s excursion to the United States has already included in-ring time under the WWE banner. The NOAH standout worked a dark match prior to the February 24 episode of NXT, squaring off against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo before the live broadcast began.

Sasaki is currently spending time at the WWE Performance Center as part of his overseas developmental experience while remaining under contract to Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Ulka arrived in Florida shortly after wrapping up a strong run in Japan. Since debuting for NOAH in early 2024, he quickly climbed the ranks, capturing both the GHC National and GHC Tag Team Championships. His last match before heading abroad was a January 11 bout against Kenta.

Long before entering the wrestling ring, Sasaki built his name in mixed martial arts. He competed in major promotions including UFC (where he had 9 fights), along with Rizin and Shooto, compiling experience at the highest levels of the sport. He competed in MMA from 2010 to 2013 and has a record of 24-10-2.
