WWE Superstar Ludwig Kaiser (who currently performs as El Grande Americano) was arrested this afternoon at 2:37 pm in Orange County, Florida on a battery charge. His bond has been set at $1000.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the incident stemmed from an altercation with a male. PWInsider also confirmed that this wasn’t a domestic incident. No additional details about what led to the arrest have been made public.

The timing is particularly notable as Kaiser is scheduled to face the original El Grande Americano Chad Gable in a Mask vs. Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30 in Monterrey, Mexico. He has been the top babyface in AAA with a lot of hype heading into the bout.
WWE has not issued a statement regarding the arrest yet.

Mick Foley is officially heading to All Elite Wrestling. The Hall of Famer parted ways with WWE at the end of 2025 amid frustration with the company’s relationship with the current U.S. administration, which did not align with Foley’s political views.
AEW President Tony Khan took to X today to announce that Foley will co-host the AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Buy In pre-show alongside Renee Paquette on May 24.
