• Mick Foley’s AEW Debut Date & Role Announced

Mick Foley is officially heading to All Elite Wrestling. The Hall of Famer parted ways with WWE at the end of 2025 amid frustration with the company’s relationship with the current U.S. administration, which did not align with Foley’s political views.

AEW President Tony Khan took to X today to announce that Foley will co-host the AEW Double or Nothing 2026 Buy In pre-show alongside Renee Paquette on May 24.

Foley previously revealed that his WWE Legends contract was set to expire in June of this year. At this stage, it is unclear whether he has signed any kind of deal with AEW or if this appearance is simply a one-time guest spot.

Double or Nothing 2026 will take place this Sunday at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.

Mason Rook recently arrived in WWE NXT and is already looking like one of the brand’s breakout prospects. However, some fans online have been making jokes about his size by linking him to former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Piper Niven.

On last night’s episode of NXT, Rook teamed up with Kam Hendrix to defeat NXT Champion Tony D’Angelo and NXT North American Champion Myles Borne.

During the show, one fan on X, who is a super heavyweight himself, posted the following:

“It’s nice to see that @PiperNivenWWE got a haircut and is back on tv #WWENXT”

Piper, who has been sidelined with a serious neck injury since last August, responded by posting the fan’s profile picture and firing back with a hilarious response:

“The frickin balls on you mate 😂

If @MasonRook_wwe and me are even somewhat related then you’re our weird uncle that mum makes us invite to family gatherings cause it’ll make gran happy

You look like an inflamed toenail and ye probably smell like one too boot.
