4. First Televised Main Roster Loss For SmackDown Live Star
As seen in the co-main event of SummerSlam 2017, “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal successfully defended his WWE Championship when he pinned the two time NXT Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, after hitting The Khallas.
It should be noted that this was Nakamura’s first televised loss on the WWE main roster. It should be noted that Nakamura has been pinned at WWE Live Events before, and that was done by Jinder Mahal as well. Looking at how the match ended (with The Singh Brothers getting involved), it’s safe to say the Mahal-Nakamura feud is far from over. You can watch Mahal defeating Nakamura below:
