• Adam Cole On Why Britt Baker Was Very Hesitant To Date Him
During a recent appearance on Renee Paquette’s Oral Sessions podcast, AEW wrestler Adam Cole talked about how he met his girlfriend, AEW Women’s World Champion Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., and why she was hesitant to date him.
Here’s what the former NXT Champion said:
“So, funny enough, I think Britt Baker’s story, I’m assuming, it’s very accurate but is, even before Bumble, because Bumble is where it all started; we were actually Facebook friends before that.
We never had conversations there or anything. We had matched up on Bumble I guess because she was in Hershey’s, Pennsylvania which is very close to where I was living at the time and she sent me a message saying ‘who’s this guy’ and it was my picture.
So we had been talking back and forth and either I got busy or she got busy so it was like this back and forth discussion type of thing and I remember one day I reached out because I thought she was beautiful and I kept asking her for going on a date and she was very hesitant about it because she didn’t want to date a wrestler and I kept pressing the issue.”
