• “Why do you wanna do all this crap?” – Brock Lesnar To SmackDown Wrestler

During his appearance on Broken Skull Sessions, Seth Rollins discussed his first-ever singles match with Brock Lesnar on PPV, which took place at Battleground 2015.

Rollins said Lesnar didn’t know till the day of the pay-per-view that The Undertaker was going to interfere in the match, which made The Beast upset and he felt blindsided.

This led to Brock not wanting to do anything special in the match, because everyone was going to remember and talk about The Undertaker returning to confront him about the WrestleMania 30 loss.

Here’s what Rollins said:

“But [Brock Lesnar] was like, ‘They’re gonna remember me and Taker going off, so why do you wanna do all this crap? No one’s gonna care. Just tell a simple story, we’ll get to the end, and we’ll do the business with Taker at SummerSlam. Sorry, but that’s how it is.’

I remember being heartbroken. I remember being like, ‘Man, why is this guy like this? He doesn’t wanna work with younger talent? What is this bullcrap?’

But I didn’t get it, man. I didn’t see the bigger picture.”
