• WWE Star Returning To The Ring After Over A Year?
Sonya Deville is working as an Authority Figure on WWE programming right now, but she could be returning to the ring soon.
Word going on is that her current storyline with Naomi is expected to lead to a match between both women.
Naomi has been asking Sonya to give her a match on SmackDown, but Sonya has been ignoring her request.
On last week’s SmackDown, Naomi went directly to the ring for a match, and this led to Sonya calling out security and forcing Naomi to leave. Naomi then challenged Deville to a match and said she would smack the “GLOW off your face”.
Sonya’s last match in WWE took place at SummerSlam 2020, where she lost to Mandy Rose in a “Loser Leaves WWE” match. After that, she went on a hiatus to deal with the legal situation involving a man that stalked her and broke into her house.

On this day in Pro Wrestling history on September 28, 1994, the World Wrestling Federation held a LIVE Event at the Westchester County Civic Center in White Plains, New York.
The live event also included TV tapings for several episodes of ‘WWF Wrestling Challenge’ & ‘WWF Action Zone’.
