CM Punk sparked controversy once again after his shoot promo about “Hangman” Adam Page, which he cut after AEW Collision went off the air last Saturday night.
Punk called Page a “Peg Warmer” and said that he can’t sell move merchandise, pop ratings or sell toys like him.
The former WWE Champion apologized to Hangman for these comments later (tap here to read).
Page was supposed to be at Collision to record a promo to hype up this week’s Dynamite, but he was told it would be taped somewhere else when he arrived in town for the show.
PWInsider reported earlier this week that Page being sent away had nothing to do with Punk.
However, The Wrestling Observer reports that when Page was told not to go to the building for Collision on Saturday, the term used was “to keep the peace”.
