As seen on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite defeated Death Triangle in a Ladder Match to win the Best of 7 series and become the new AEW World Trios Champions.

Kenny Omega and Young Bucks are now 2-time Trios Champions, as they were the inaugural champions as well.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Nick Jackson of Young Bucks broke his toe during the early matches in this series, but continued working hurt:

“He was hurting just walking for the last month plus and still doing all the stuff he did in those matches. It is healing up to where he can walk without that much discomfort.”

• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the 93rd birthday of Old School Wrestling Legend Eddie Graham (Real name: Edward Gossett).

Most people remember him for being the ‘Championship Wrestling from Florida’ (CWF) promoter from 1971 till he died by suicide in 1985.

Unfortunately his son, Old School Wrestling Veteran Mike Graham (in 2012), and his grandson (in 2010) died by suicide in a similar way as him.
