• AEW Changes Plan For Special Due To WrestleMania 42

WWE will host WrestleMania 42 on Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

All Elite Wrestling has adjusted its programming around that week. HBO Max’s schedule for April notes that the special AEW Spring BreakThru Collision episode will air on Thursday, April 16, instead of its regular Saturday slot that week.

This isn’t the first time AEW has moved Collision due to a WWE Premium Live Event. The company has previously shifted the day or time of its shows to avoid overlapping with major WWE shows.

• Return Teased For WrestleMania 42

Former WWE star Ted DiBiase Jr. has sparked rumors of a surprise return at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. During a recent podcast interview with his attorney Scott Gilbert on the Clay Edwards Show, DiBiase Jr. took a phone call on camera. He then told his attorney they are booked for something on April 19th in Vegas.

WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Fans quickly linked the call to a possible WWE return. Many believe the call could have been with Randy Orton or someone from WWE, hinting at a Legacy reunion involving Orton, Cody Rhodes, and DiBiase Jr.

DiBiase Jr. recently tweeted the following after he was found not guilty in his fraud case:

“A Mississippi jury has acquitted me on all charges. I am forever indebted to nationally recognized trial lawyer Eric Herschmann, who guided my overall defense strategy and stepped in to masterfully cross-examine the government’s star witness.

I and my family are grateful to him and Jon Gonzales of his firm Herschmann Benson Bowen for their incredible commitment and loyalty. I have seen firsthand and agree with @icecube: Eric Herschmann is the best lawyer in the country!

Thank you for defending my innocence and bring Truth into the light.

Forever Grateful 🙏🏼”

• Change Coming To Cody Rhodes’ Character

Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes will be back on this Friday’s SmackDown. He missed last week’s SmackDown to sell Randy Orton’s attack.

According to SelfMadePro, WWE is set to book a little change to Cody’s character, where he will fight “fire with fire” as he battles a vicious Viper.

With Orton’s character becoming edgier, Cody’s character is set to become edgier as well, which means The American Nightmare won’t be in his regular babyface mode.

On last week’s SmackDown, Orton said he’s hearing voicing in his head, which are telling him he’s going to beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Title at WrestleMania 42. Orton also assaulted Matt Cardona.
