AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 (Live Coverage) – Part 7

Tonight’s AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view is airing live from the T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.

This is the 4th Double Or Nothing PPV in AEW history.

On The Buy-In show (pre-show), all 4 men had their AEW PPV in-ring debut and as expected, the babyfaces picked up the win.

Hook & Danhausen def. Tony Nese & “Smart” Mark Sterling

The main show kicked off with the highly anticipated MJF vs. Wardlow match. MJF did show up, as opposed to the rumors.

Wardlow picked up the win over MJF after hitting 10 Powerbombs (Powerbomb Symphony).

Wardlow is officially an AEW Superstar now and his contract as MJF’s bodyguard is over.

MJF left the arena on a stretcher after getting destroyed.

Up next is a Tag Team Match between former WWF Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz and former AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.

This is the first time these two teams are squaring off inside an AEW ring.

After back & forth action, which involved Jeff Hardy hitting a Swanton Bomb on top of one of the Bucks placed on the steel ring steps, Jeff & Matt Hardy picked up the win.

With this loss, Young Bucks’ winning streak at the Double Or Nothing PPV has come to an end.

Up next is the TBS Women’s Championship match, where Jade defeated Anna to retain her Title and continue her undefeated run in All Elite Wrestling.

The following 2 names made their AEW debuts during and after this match:

– Stokely Hathaway (fka Malcolm Bivens in WWE NXT)

– Athena (fka Ember Moon in WWE)

Tony Khan announced on Twitter that both of them have signed with the company.

Up next is a 6 man tag team match.

During the ending moments of the match, lights went off and Julia Hart showed up and spit black mist in Pac’s face.

This led to Malakai Black hitting his finisher on Pac and picking up the win for his team.

Julia Hart has joined House Of Black.

Up next is the Final of the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

Adam Cole put ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe away to pick up the win. This match featured interference from Bobby Fish.

Martha Hart will present Cole with the Trophy later tonight.

After this, the Final of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament took place.

Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. def. Ruby Soho to win the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament

Baker put her heel character aside and offered a handshake to Ruby.

The boyfriend-girlfriend duo of Cole & Baker have won the inaugural Owen Hart Tournaments.

Martha Hart came out with an emotional AEW President Tony Khan to present the winners of their trophies.

Martha gave a speech and then gave the belts to Cole & Baker.

Up next is a mixed tag team match, which featured former UFC Fighter Paige VanZant making her in-ring debut in All Elite Wrestling.

Sammy Guevara & Tay Conti did their heel antics of making out multiple times during the match, which eventually cost them the match. Sammy also accidentally superkicked Tay.

TNT Champion Scorpio Sky, Ethan Page & Paige VanZant def. Sammy Guevara, Tay Conti & Frankie Kazarian

Guevara & Kazarian can no longer challenge for the TNT Title until Scorpio is the champion.
