• AEW Dynamite Results – CM Punk Loses His 1st Match

– Jon Moxley def. Wheeler Yuta (After the match, Bryan Danielson came out. Bryan said he has wanted to fight Mox for a long time. That he watched Mox and thought he was the best AEW World Champion, but they don’t have to fight each other, instead they can fight together.

Bryan said he and Mox can run AEW and they can become AEW World Champion, and AEW Tag Team Champions together and can take some younger, hungry talents like Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Lee Moriarty and train them together under their wing.

Bryan told Mox to think about the greatness they can create and to give him an answer)

– Paige Van Zant went after Brandi Rhodes, but they got separated by Referees and talents.

– Sammy Guevara vs. Isaiah Kassidy for the TNT Title is announced for Rampage. Kassidy said he will take the TNT Title and if he feels like, he’ll take his girl Tay Conti as well. Matt asked Andrade El Idolo when he will get Darby Allin to join them. Andrade said he’s working on it and it’ll just require more money.

– The House of Black def. Death Triangle

– Adam Cole said he’s still undefeated and that his record reflects that. Cole said he still doesn’t get the respect he deserves and that he is one of the best wrestlers in the world. Cole announced that he will face Evil Uno on Rampage and after he wins the whole world will know what he wants next.

– Nyla Rose def. Ruby Soho

– The Gunn Club attacked AEW World Tag Team Champion Jungle Boy and tossed him out of the building and into the snow.

– Lance Archer Chokeslammed AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page on the Steel Steps and put him through a Table. Archer grabbed a mic and told Page that next week he becomes AEW World Champion.

– Chris Jericho called out Santana & Ortiz for being disrespectful and not tagging him in their match last week. Jericho demanded that next week every member of Inner Circle show up for a mandatory Inner Circle team meeting.

– MJF def. CM Punk after hitting him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring (This was Punk’s 1st loss in All Elite Wrestling. His AEW record is 11-1 now.)

• ON THIS DAY IN PRO WRESTLING HISTORY (February 2, 1986) – Old School Wrestling Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 1986, we lost Old School Wrestling Veteran Gino Hernandez (Real name: Charles Wolfe Jr.) at the young age of only 28 from a cocaine overdose.

Gino Hernandez used to be one of the top heels in Fritz Von Erich’s Dallas based World Class Championship Wrestling promotion.

His feud against the Von Erich’s is legendary and one of the most memorable feuds in the history of this territory.

During his WCCW days, he was managed by famous old school wrestling manager Gary Hart.
