– reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly) won the Tag Team Battle Royal to qualify for the AEW World Tag Team Title Triple Threat Match at the Revolution 2022 PPV.

– After the first match, AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page went after reDRagon. This led to Adam Cole running out to make the save. He tried to superkick Page, but Page fought him off.

Hangman then told the story of how Cole came to AEW thinking he could take the AEW Championship from him at Revolution, but fell short and received a Buckshot Lariat.

– MJF said he used to love CM Punk and how meeting Punk meant everything to him. How he had trouble making friends as a kid and being bullied when he was 11.

MJF got to meet his hero and that he wanted to be just like him. How he studied taped and practiced promos because he wanted to be like Punk. MJF said Punk left in January 2014 and that he left everyone and it made MJF quit his dreams until he wanted to be the Best in the World in spite of Punk.

He made a promise to himself that he would be a hero to all the bullied kids and wouldn’t quit on them like Punk quit on him. Because if he quit then he would be no better than Punk.

CM Punk came out and asked MJF if the story is true. MJF had tears in his eyes and said it is.

– Death Triangle def. The House of Black (After the match, former WWE RAW Tag Team Champion Buddy Matthews / Buddy Murphy made his AEW debut and attacked Pac & Penta Oscuro, which is Penta El Zero Miedo’s other gimmick. Buddy joined The House of Black)

– Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston came face-to-face in a promo segment and they will face each other at the Revolution PPV.

– The AHFO challenged TNT Champion Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin & Sting to a Tornado Trios Match at Revolution.

– FTW Champion Ricky Starks def. Dark Order’s 10 to qualify for The Face of the Revolution Ladder Match

– Jade Cargill (c) def. The Bunny to retain the TBS Championship (Jade said she will soon be 30-0 and asked who’s left for her to defeat. Tay Conti came out. Tay challenged Jade for the Title at Revolution. Jade took out Conti with a Pump Kick)

– Keith Lee is being interviewed, but Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs interrupted. Starks told Keith that because he is new here he must learn the rules that Team Taz run AEW. Keith & Hobbs had a stare down, but Starks told them to save it for Revolution.

– Bryan Danielson def. Daniel Garcia (After the match, 2.0 attacked Bryan, but Jon Moxley made the save. Bryan said that Mox told him they couldn’t fight together until they bleed together and if that’s what he wants they can do in a match at Revolution, but don’t be surprised if Mox is the only one bleeding)
