AEW Dynamite Results – FTR’s New Manager Revealed, Rock ‘N’ Roll Express Attacked (Video)

– Tonight’s AEW Dynamite kicked off with The Opps celebrating becoming the new AEW Trios Champions with Master P. The Death Riders attacked them, but The Opps fought them off. The Elite made their way to the ring and helped Jon Moxley. Kenny Omega & Swerve Strickland made the save and chased The Elite away. Samoa Joe said he accepts Jon Moxley’s challenge for the AEW World Championship, and declared that he will win and become a 2-time AEW World Champion. Jon Moxley vs. Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship is made official for the “Beach Break” edition of Dynamite on May 14.

– Christian Cage took the ROH TV Championship away from Nick Wayne, and said that he and Mother Wayne celebrated Nick’s Title win very extensively last Thursday. Christian said that when you shut up and listen good things will happen to you. Nick said that when you stick to the plan, you actually win championships. Christian gave Nick the Title back and declared that he loves his family.

– Mark Briscoe def. Ricochet

After the match, Ricochet attacked Briscoe with a Steel Chair, but Kevin Knight made the save.

– Stokely Hathaway was named the new Manager for FTR. Stokely said that Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood are Living Legend Killers. FTR invited The Rock ‘N’ Roll Express to the ring and they took them out with a Spike Piledriver after they declined their new merch.

– The Young Bucks def. “Speedball” Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight with help from Ricochet

– MVP & Shelton Benjamin agreed to let MJF join The Hurt Syndicate, but Bobby Lashley remained undecided. MJF said if Lashley agrees to let him join, they will take over all of Professional Wrestling, and offered to give him his new car. Lashley & Shelton go into the car. Lashley gave MJF a thumbs down and drove off in MJF’s vehicle.

– AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Queen Aminata is announced for Collision.

– Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander def. Will Ospreay & Brody King

After the match, The Don Callis Family beat down Ospreay & Brody. “Hangman” Adam Page attempted to make the save, but he got taken out as well.

– Jamie Hayter def. Kris Statlander to advance to the Final of the Women’s Owen Hart Cup Tournament

It will be TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Mone vs. Jamie Hayter in the Final of the tournament at Double or Nothing.
