• AEW Dynamite Results – Kenny Omega Returns, Ricky Steamboat Debuts

– AEW World Champion CM Punk kicked off tonight’s Dynamite. Punk said he wants to give Hangman Page the rematch he never got after he got injured. Hangman didn’t come out and Punk called him a coward.

Punk then addresses Interim AEW World Champion Jon Moxley. Punk said Mox has always been 2nd best to him, and is the 3rd best guy in his group. Punk then called out Eddie Kingston. Punk said he’s the 3rd best Eddie he’s ever faced and the 2nd best Kingston he’s shared a locker room with.

Punk challenged Moxley to a match at All Out for the Undisputed AEW World Title and said he’ll be the second Jon he beats in Chicago.

Moxley came out and said he has the heart and soul Punk doesn’t have, and that Punk only came to AEW when he ran out of money.

Punk said he’s worried if Moxley will bleed all over the place if he touches him.

– Powerhouse Hobbs said that Ricky Starks proved to the world that he is okay with losing when he lost the FTW Title even after everything he did to ensure Starks remained Champion. Hobbs said he breaks backs as well as necks, and that he is coming for Starks.

– Bryan Danielson def. Daniel Garcia in a Best 2 Out of 3 Falls Match with WWE Hall Of Famer Ricky Steamboat as the Special Guest Timekeeper (this was Steamboat’s AEW debut)

Chris Jericho went after Bryan after the match, but Garcia stopped him.

– In a backstage segment, Jericho is upset with Garcia for his actions tonight and said that next week he will talk to Garcia and he must choose where his allegiance is.

Ricky Steamboat interrupted and told Jericho that Bryan Danielson is the mentor that Daniel Garcia should choose.

– The Gunn Club def. Varisty Blonds

After the match, WWE Hall Of Famer Billy Gunn said he is proud of Austin & Colten Gunn, and is happy that he’s gotten to work next to both of them. Austin & Colten shared a hug with their Dad, but they turned on him and beat him down. The Acclaimed then made the save for Billy.

– Jungle Boy challenged Christian Cage to a match at All Out. Christian turned down the challenge and said he wants to fix things with Jungle Boy as he is like a son to him, and told him to come home where he belongs. Jungle Boy didn’t fall for it and took out Christian’s arm.

– Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh challenged TNT Champion Wardlow & ROH, NJPW & AAA Tag Team Champions FTR to a match at All Out. They accepted, but Dax Harwood wants a one-on-one match against Lethal first.

– Toni Storm def. KiLynn King while AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa watched from backstage

– CM Punk (c) vs. Jon Moxley (ic) for the Undisputed AEW World Championship will take place on next week’s Dynamite

– Kenny Omega & Young Bucks def. Andrade El Idolo, Rush & Dragon Lee to advance to the next round of the AEW Trios Title Tournament

This was Omega’s return from injury. After the match, Andrade & Rush turned on Dragon Lee and unmasked him.
