During an interview on the NFL Network, AEW President Tony Khan took a major shot at WWE.

Here’s what he said:

“[AEW is] the most successful sports startup since the AFL. We are like the Pepsi of Pro Wrestling.

We’re up against a really Evil Juggernaut, WWE is our competitor, that’s who we are facing.

AEW is like the Pepsi of Pro Wrestling and WWE is like the Harvey Weinstein of Professional Wrestling.”

On the AEW Dynasty Buy-In pre-show, The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn lost the AEW World Trios Championship to ROH 6-Man Tag Team Champions Bullet Club Gold.

During the entrance for this match, Max Caster took a shot at the Vince McMahon allegations when he did on rap on Jay White:

“Switchblade’s what I switch. I’ll fulfill your fantasy and I’ll make you my b*tch. Yo this dude’s just making me sick. I’ll violate you so bad you’ll have to tell the legal team about the taste of my d**k.”

After this, a fan asked Max on X if he’s no longer with All Elite Wrestling. Caster replied:

“I am suspended.”

Despite this tweet from Caster, AEW has announced that The Acclaimed will face Grizzled Young Veterans on this Saturday’s Collision.

AEW has announced the following for Collision so far:

– Bullet Club Gold (Jay White & The Gunns) (c) vs. Action Andretti and Top Flight for the Unified AEW World Trios Championship

– AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm vs. Anna Jay

– The Acclaimed vs. Grizzled Young Veterans

– Swerve Strickland’s first LIVE interview as AEW World Champion

After Collision goes off the air, AEW will air a special LIVE episode of Rampage. Below is the card:

– Trent Beretta vs. Chuck Taylor in a Parking Lot Fight

– Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo

According to the Wrestling Observer, AEW is expecting their highest viewership of 2024 this Saturday, due to the NBA game lead-in:

“The reason AEW announced Strickland in the first segment for Saturday is because they expect their biggest quarter of the year.

There is no Inside the NBA on TNT, they go right from the Celtics-Heat game to wrestling and that will give them their biggest lead-in a long time and at 8:30 p.m., or slightly later.

Makes more sense to do something big there than on Dynamite for all the reasons we’ve talked about and written.”
