• AEW Rampage Results – Heel Turn, Cesaro’s 1st Title Defense Set
After Wednesday’s Dynamite went off the air, All Elite Wrestling taped tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage.
Below are the results:
– Orange Cassidy & Best Friends def. Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh
Singh & Lethal attacked Cassidy after the match, but TNT Champion Wardlow made the save.
– Ethan Page def. Leon Ruffin
– QT Marshall offered Cole Karter a spot in The Factory and told him to sleep on it.
– Lee Moriarty def. Matt Sydal
Stokely Hathaway came out in the middle of the match and helped Lee pick up the win over Matt.
After the match, Moriarty turned heel by joining forces with Hathaway.
– Claudio Castagnoli (fka Cesaro in WWE) celebrated becoming the ROH World Champion. Claudio thanked all his fans for sticking with him. Claudio called out his fellow Blackpool Combat Club member Wheeler Yuta (ROH Pure Champion) and put him over.
Chris Jericho interrupted. Jericho said that he’s sick of The BCC and claimed that Yuta could never defeat him one on one. Yuta said he could defeat Jericho just like he did his teammate Daniel Garcia.
Jericho challenged Wheeler for next week’s Dynamite and put his AEW Interim World Title match against Jon Moxley on the line.
