• AEW Retiring First Ever TNT Championship Title Belt In Honor Of Brodie Lee
AEW honored Mr. Brodie Lee on the last episode of Dynamite in 2020, as the former TNT Champion passed away last Saturday due to non COVID-19 related lung issues.
At the end of the show, AEW President Tony Khan said that Brodie Lee is the greatest TNT Champion of all time, and awarded the TNT Championship to “The -1” Brodie Lee Jr. He said that he’s going to be TNT Champion for life.

On the Dynamite post show, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone confirmed that the current design of the TNT Championship has been retired, and Brodie Lee Jr. will carry it with himself as a tribute to his father.
A new design for the Title is now in the works.
