In the main event of last night’s AAA TripleMania XXXI event, El Hijo Del Vikingo defeated AEW star Kenny Omega to retain the AAA Mega Championship.

After the show, Omega was doing interviews with the local media, when AEW personality Don Callis confronted Omega to further their storyline.

AEW wrestler Konosuke Takeshita then attacked Omega ahead of Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match on Dynamite.

A fan then legitimately attacked Callis. Callis was left bleeding from the mouth and hurt his neck & ankle. It should be noted that Callis already has a bad neck.

You can watch it below:

The Wrestling Observer reported the following about it:

“Everything was an angle up to that point, but then a fan who was apparently upset about what Don had said to Kenny jumped Don from behind, ripped his suit, concussed his eardrum and busted open his mouth while he was trying to choke out Don from behind.

Don was screaming profanities at the fan before he was pulled off, and was said to be livid afterwards.”

WWF fans will remember Don Callis (age 59) as a manager named ‘The Jackyl’ in the World Wrestling Federation from September 1997 until the fall of 1998, where he managed The Truth Commission & Kurrgan, as well as The Parade of Human Oddities.

He also worked for Paul Heyman’s Extreme Championship Wrestling as ‘Cyrus The Virus’ (1999-2001), TNA / IMPACT Wrestling (2003-2004, 2017-2021) and Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling (since 2020).
