• AEW Was Reportedly Interested In Signing Goldberg & Doing “The Streak” Again

While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Experience, Jim Cornette revealed that AEW President Tony Khan was really interested in signing WWE Hall Of Famer Goldberg to AEW at one point, and re-doing his 173-0 streak.

Below is what he said:

“Goldberg was huge on Tony Khan’s want list. He wanted Goldberg to come out and do the streak over again. I mentioned how much you think he’s gonna charge for a 30-second job match? Probably the same as a main event PPV match.”

This is most likely true, as Khan has always said that he’s a huge fan of the WCW Legend, and he also considers him one of the biggest draws in pro-wrestling history.
