• Goldberg Shoots On ‘A$$Hole’ Fans For Booing Him

WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg returned earlier this year and defeated The Fiend to win the Universal Championship.

Goldberg received some backlash for this as Fiend was very popular at that time (which is what Vince McMahon wanted, as he wanted to get Roman Reigns over in the process as the original plan was for Reigns to dethrone Goldberg at WrestleMania 36).

While speaking on American Monster Productions, the former Universal Champion discussed fans booing him in his latest run with WWE.

“It’s hard, it’s nerve racking. But I’m 53 years old now, things are different for me. If I go out and a crowd boos me, I don’t take it personally and feel as if we’re not worthy of doing anything. No offence guys. There’s a lot of a$$hole fans out there.

There’s a different generation of fans now, they want to be that guy that started that chant, and that guy that made Goldberg spit at them, or do whatever. I’m not here to give them the time to do that.

The reality is they are paying for me to put on a show for them, they are not paying for them to be a part of the show. They’re a part of the show because they interact, but interacting in a negative malicious way is very disrespectful.”
