• AEW Wrestler Unhappy About Not Being On The Fyter Fest Poster

AEW Fyter Fest (Night 1) will take place on July 14 and the only match announced so far is Brian Cage vs. Ricky Starks for the FTW Championship.

Despite only one match announced so far, the show has still sold out.

Cage & Starks, the only wrestlers announced for a match on the show, aren’t featured on the Fyter Fest poster.

Here’s what Cage tweeted about it:

“@starkmanjones vs cage only match announced and can’t get on poster after selling out. Ricky’s hone town, and Austin is the wrestling tent that I built. #wrestlecircus”

This match will mark the return of Ricky Starks to in-ring competition. He has been out of action since April due to a fractured neck.

• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF Legend Hillbilly Jim (Real name: James Morris) celebrates his 69th birthday today.

Hillbilly Jim first joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1984 as a (kayfabe) Fan, who (in storyline) got trained by WWF World Champion Hulk Hogan.

He retired from active professional wrestling in 1990, but later returned in 1992 to co-host WWF Prime Time Wrestling and again in early 1996 to become the manager of The Godwinns.

Hillbilly Jim came out of retirement to enter the Gimmick Battle Royal at WrestleMania X-Seven, but was eliminated by the eventual winner, The Iron Sheik.

In 2018, Jim was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart.
