Tonight’s AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2023 pay-per-view took place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This was All Elite Wrestling’s first PPV to be held outside USA.
Adam Cole vs. Tom Lawlor was canceled for tonight’s show. AEW President Tony Khan tweeted the following about it:
“Due to illness, Adam Cole isn’t cleared tonight, therefore the Adam Cole vs. Tom Lawlor match is canceled.”
