Billy Gunn’s sons Austin & Colten Gunn were also scheduled to be a part of this match, but Danhausen gave “The A$$ Boys” a custom theme song, which made them angry and then went backstage to look for Danhausen.

The main PPV show kicked off with WWF Legend Chris Jericho coming out for his Trios match.

Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara & Minoru Suzuki def. Eddie Kingston, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta & Shota Umino

Jericho picked up the win for his team by pinning Shota. With this win, Jericho’s stable as gained advantage in this Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match on AEW Dynamite.

Up next is the ROH & IWGP World Tag Team Championship Match. During the match, it looked like Dax Harwood got hurt and was taken to the back, but he came back in the match later to a big pop and eventually helped his team win.

Up next is a Fatal 4-Way match to crown the inaugural AEW All-Atlantic Champion.

During the ending moments of the match, Miro (Rusev) was about to make Clark Connors tap out, but Malakai Black spit the black mist in Miro’s face.

Black was then about to make Clark tap out, but Pac (fka Neville in WWE) hit his finisher on Black and then made Clark tap out to win the match.

Up next is a Trios Match. Hiromu Takahashi was scheduled to be a part of this match, but he had fever, so he was pulled from this event. Due to this, Hikuleo was pulled from the opposing team.

WWE Hall Of Famer Sting kicked off this match in a big way, by taking a major bump during a dive.

Thunder Rosa (c) def. Toni Storm to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship

After this match, it was announced that AEW Grand Slam (Dynamite & Rampage) will return to the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City on Wednesday, September 21st.

Will Ospreay (c) def. Orange Cassidy to retain the IWGP United States Championship

The United Empire beat down Orange Cassidy after the match. This led to Katsuyori Shibata & Roppongi Vice making the save. Cassidy thanked Shibata by giving him his glasses.

Up next is a singles match. Zack Sabre Jr. comes out first. Out next is Bryan Danielson’s replacement – Cesaro, who is back to being Claudio Castagnoli.

Commentators confirmed that Cesaro has joined William Regal’s Blackpool Combat Club.

The match began and Cesaro immediately delivered an Uppercut and hit the Neutralizer, but Zack kicked out.

After back & forth action, Cesaro hit a Powerbomb to pick up the win.

Jay White (c) def. Adam Cole, Hangman Page & Kazuchika Okada to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship

White pinned Cole to win the match.

Up next is the main event of the evening and it is for the Interim AEW World Championship.

Jon Moxley (accompanied by William Regal) makes his way out first, followed by the 8-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Hiroshi Tanahashi.

This main event was originally scheduled to be CM Punk vs. Tanahashi for the AEW World Title, but Punk got injured.

After bleeding heavily in the match, Moxley put away Tanahashi with a Deathrider.

After the match, a brawl broke out between the competitors in this Wednesday’s Blood & Guts match, which ended with Cesaro and his team standing tall.
