Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Jeff Hardy, Sammy Guevara and The Bloodline storyline.

• Jeff Hardy recently suffered a broken nose during a No DQ match against Sammy Guevara on AEW Rampage. Guevara’s knee landed on Jeff’s face during a Shooting Star Press.

On his podcast, AEW’s special attraction wrestler Rob Van Dam said that Sammy owes accountability for this accident:

“That’s why they call it a high-risk move. I’m not throwing shade on anybody because accidents happen. God knows I’ve potatoed people in my matches but that’s on Sammy, completely. That’s a high-risk move. When you f**k it up, it’s on you.”

RVD wrestled in a Trios Match on last week’s AEW Dynamite, where he passed out to AEW World Champion Samoa Joe’s Coquina Clutch.

• The Bloodline storyline will get two matches at WrestleMania 40 as well, just like WrestleMania 39 (and it could be 3 if The Rock wrestles).

Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Championship against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso will finally happen.

On the “Off The Top” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi said he’d like to return for WrestleMania XL to be in the ring with his sons Jimmy & Jey when they collide:

“When you have 80,000 people either cheering you or booing you, as a dream match for the fans, it would be nice. It would be hella nice.

That’d be great. Everybody would get their photo op. I’ll be able to be once again standing in the ring with my two boys, and just enjoying a moment of 80,000 – 90,000 people going to be sitting there just soaking all this in.”
