• After AEW, ROH Wrestler Gets Fined For Usage Of Blood During A Match

Maryland state doesn’t tolerate bloody matches and slaps wrestling promotions with fines if they use blood during matches.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Mark Haskins has been fined $4,000 by the Maryland State Athletic Commission for the usage of blood during a match. This was done during a match with Bully Ray at ROH Final Battle event from the UMBC Events Center in Baltimore, Maryland on December 13th.

As per the official ruling, Haskins “allowed himself” to be thrown onto a table which was wrapped with a barbed wire board and was cut several times. The order was handed to Haskins on February 29th.

He was told to pay $2,000 by the end of March and remaining $2,000 by February 2021.

Maryland state previously fined AEW $10,000 for the usage of blood during Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega at AEW Full Gear 2019 (tap here to read more).
