• Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Celebrates His Birthday

Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette celebrates his 49th birthday today.

After starring in the WCW movie ‘Ready To Rumble’, David also appeared on WCW TV and on the April 26, 2000 episode of WCW Thunder, where he became the WCW World Heavyweight Champion by pinning Eric Bischoff in a Tag Team match that had DDP’s title on the line.

He held the belt for 12 days, before losing it in the Triple Cage main event of the ‘WCW Slamboree 2000’ PPV.

It’s worth mentioning that celebrity David Arquette also turned heel during that match and cost his buddy Diamond Dallas Page the win, allowing “The Chosen One” Jeff Jarrett to become champion.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID ARQUETTE!

• AJ Styles On His Merch Idea Mocking John Cena Which Vince McMahon Rejected

While speaking on his Twitch stream, WWE SmackDown wrestler AJ Styles, discussed one of his biggest feuds in WWE, which took place in the summer of 2016, against John Cena.

The Phenomenal One also recalled the infamous “Beat Up John Cena” catchphrase he made with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, which he wanted to be used for a t-shirt, but Vince McMahon didn’t allow it to happen.

Below is what Styles said:

“Man, he was so much fun to work with. We did some really good stuff. He was so smooth and easy to work. That whole, “Beat up John Cena” thing was just a lot of fun.

I actually had an idea for a shirt that said, “Beat Up Cena” or something like that, but when I pitched it to Vince, he said, ‘You want me to promote a shirt rooting against my top babyface?’

I just went ahead and let that one go.”
