• 3 NXT Stars Possibly Bid Farewell To NXT Fans Last Night

A fan in attendance at last night’s NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event noted that it seemed like Velveteen Dream, Aleister Black and Ricochet bid farewell to the NXT fans.

Below is a photo:

As seen at last night’s NXT TakeOver: Phoenix event, Ricochet dropped the NXT North American Championship to Johnny Gargano and Aleister Black failed to defeat NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa (and thus his NXT TakeOver winning streak of 7-0 came to an end).

Wrestling Observer noted that there has been talks of all 3 men coming up to the WWE main roster for a while now, but no word yet on when that might happen (especially with WWE already debuting 6 NXT wrestlers on the WWE main roster right now).

Speaking of Velveteen Dream, multiple reports have stated that he’s expected to be a surprise entrant in tonight’s Men’s Royal Rumble 2019 match.
