• Alberto Del Rio Expected To Return To WWE TV

Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron, who is under contract with AAA, is expected to return to WWE. According to the Wrestling Observer, people close to Del Rio tell them that his relationship with WWE is fine and he will return to WWE TV one day, just not anytime soon.

Speaking of Del Rio, he appeared on Venga la Alegría to promote his AAA Mega Championship match against El Hijo del Vikingo on May 31. Things got out of control during this interview and Del Rio ended up attacking multiple people. You can watch it below:

As we noted before, WWE spoiled the result of this match on this week’s RAW by promoting Vikingo vs. Chad Gable at Worlds Collide on June 7th for the AAA Mega Title, thus confirming that Vikingo is indeed scheduled to defeat Del Rio for the title tomorrow.

• New WrestleMania Rumors Are A Negotiation Tactic

WrestleMania 42 will no longer take place in New Orleans. WWE confirmed the change but has not officially named a new host city.

However, Las Vegas is being considered as the location for WrestleMania 42 in 2026, following the success of WrestleMania 41 in the city.

The Wrestling Observer later reported that WWE is considering hosting WrestleMania in Las Vegas on a regular basis. It wouldn’t be every year, but the city could host it frequently—especially in years when it isn’t already hosting events like the Super Bowl or NCAA championships.

According to Fightful Select, WWE’s discussions about doing WrestleMania in Las Vegas more often are a negotiation tactic:

“Regarding the rumors that WWE could take WrestleMania to Las Vegas more often, many in the company believe that is a negotiation tactic to encourage cities to bid more.”
