The very first induction into the ‘Kiss My Ass Club’ is also the most memorable by far.
“Sir” William had betrayed the World Wrestling Federation earlier in 2001, by joining the WCW/ECW Alliance, helping them to put the WWF out of business (kayfabe).
The plan failed when the WWF won the Survivor Series all-or-nothing Elimination match main event, thus the Alliance had to disband.
Now trying to get his place in the World Wrestling Federation back, William Regal only had one choice … to kiss Mr. McMahons backside.
And he did it to save his job, but not without putting on some lip balm before doing so.
Truly a moment for the ages …
