• Another Champion In AEW Gets Hurt

As seen on last night’s episode of AEW Rampage, AEW World Champion CM Punk announced that he’s injured and will require surgery.

However, he won’t relinquish the Title, so an Interim AEW World Champion will be crowned later this month at the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door PPV.

AEW has announced an Interim World Championship Eliminator Series for it. Tap here for details.

Along with Punk, TNT Champion Scorpio Sky is hurt now as well.

In the main event of Rampage last night, Sky defeated Dante Martin to retain the Title.

He got hurt during this match and tweeted the following about it:

“I went into last night’s match with my knee bothering me and unfortunately in the opening minutes I strained a muscle that goes from my knee up through my groin. My right leg was useless from then on.

Despite that, wrestling in SoCal felt amazing even on one leg.

Hopefully nothing serious and I’ll be back to defend again soon.”
