As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Vince McMahon announced that Kevin Owens will replace Kofi Kingston in the WWE Championship match at FastLane 2019.
According to multiple sources, WWE made this change to save the WWE Championship match between Daniel Bryan & Kofi Kingston for WrestleMania 35.
Another hint regarding Kofi being involved in the WWE Championship picture at WrestleMania 35 is that he’s being advertised to be a part of the WWE Championship match at a post-WrestleMania WWE Live Event in Minnesota.
