Old School Japanese Wrestling Legend Genichiro Tenryu (Real name: Genichiro Shimad) celebrates his 68th birthday today.
Most Old School WWF Fans will remember him as an entrant in both the 1993 and the 1994 Royal Rumble matches.

• Former WWE Champion Thinks Ronda Rousey Is Going To Dominate In WWE
During a recent interview with MMA Junkie, below is what former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal said about former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey signing with WWE:
“That speaks volumes for her. I know she’s a big wrestling fan growing up, and her name comes from ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. She’s a wrestling fan, and I know she has a passion for the business, which is sometimes the hardest thing, because sometimes people come from the outside and they don’t have the passion for it.
It’s just a one-time deal – oh, WrestleMania – and it’s big paycheck. That’s awesome that she’s signed fulltime. Just like she dominated the UFC, she’s going to dominate pro wrestling.”

On this day in 2010, the WWE aired their 191th episode of ‘ECW on ScyFy’ (or ECW on SyFy after the changed the abbreviation of the channel).
Two weeks later the last ever episode aired and the show was ultimately replaced with WWE NXT, a weekly WWE developmental show that still runs today, though in a different format than it was in 2010.

• Another Raw Star Dealing With An Injury
Things haven’t going well for some Raw Superstars as of late. Paige’s in-ring career is over due to a neck injury, Samoa Joe is out of action with a foot injury, Dean Ambrose is out of action with a triceps injury, Raw Tag Team Champion Sheamus is dealing with spinal stenosis & Jason Jordan is dealing with a neck injury.
That’s not all. Former Raw Tag Team Champion Seth Rollins joins this list as he’s currently dealing with a back injury. However, he isn’t expected to miss any time as he’s working through the injury.
As we noted before, Rollins is expected to be a part of Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
