On this day in 2017, we lost Legendary WWF Manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan (Real name: Raymond Heenan) at the age of 72 due to organ failure.

He was battling throat cancer since 2004.

Bobby Heenan wasn’t just undoubtedly the greatest Manager in professional wrestling history, he was also arguably the single greatest color commentator ever.

The Brain managed a lot of famous names, such as André The Giant, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, “Ravishing” Rick Rude, “King” Harley Race, Mr. Perfect, The Brain Busters, Hercules, Big John Studd, Haku, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, Ken Patera, King Kong Bundy, “The Narcissist” Lex Luger, The Red Rooster and The Barbarian.

REST IN PEACE BOBBY HEENAN!

• Another Reason Behind Brock Lesnar’s Surprise Return At Hell In A Cell 2018

In the main event of last night’s Hell In A Cell 2018 PPV, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar returned to WWE programming, broke the Hell in a Cell door and destroyed both Roman Reigns & Braun Strowman. This resulted in the Universal Title match ending in a no contest.

According to the Fired Up podcast, Brock Lesnar is in-line to get a Universal Championship rematch.

It is expected to be a Triple Threat match for the Universal Championship between Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar either at Survivor Series 2018 PPV or the November 2nd show in Saudi Arabia (most probably on the Saudi Arabia show).

In an update to this, there’s another reason behind Brock’s surprise return last night.

The Fired Up podcast noted that Brock’s UFC comeback has been delayed and it looks like he’ll now fight Daniel Cormier for the UFC Heavyweight Championship sometime in April 2019 (it was previously expected to be in February 2019).
